Installation Checklist - Kitchen Hoods

Overview

This is a demo installation checklist to ensure the hood is installed correctly and safely. Technicians and customers can use this as a verification guide.

1. Pre‑Installation Checks

  • Correct model delivered

  • All accessories present

  • Wall strength verified

  • Power point available near installation area

2. Mounting & Positioning

  • Hood mounted at correct height

    • 24–30 inches above cooktop (depending on model)

  • Hood is level and firmly fixed

  • No vibration during operation

3. Ducting Requirements

  • Duct pipe length within recommended limit

  • No sharp bends

  • Pipe properly sealed

  • Outdoor outlet clear and open

4. Electrical Safety

  • Proper earthing

  • No loose wires

  • Switchboard in good condition

  • Voltage stable

5. Functional Testing

  • Hood turns ON/OFF properly

  • All speed levels working

  • Lights working

  • Auto‑Clean button functioning (if applicable)

  • No unusual noise

6. Final Handover to Customer

  • Demonstrate all buttons

  • Explain Auto‑Clean

  • Explain filter cleaning

  • Provide warranty details

  • Share customer care number
