🛠️ Installation Guide – Aquaguard Designo UTC WS RO+UV

📦 1. Before You Begin

Ensure the following items are available:

  • Purifier unit

  • 8‑litre storage tank

  • Input pipe

  • Reject water pipe

  • Diverter valve

  • Installation kit

  • Power socket near the sink

📍 2. Choose the Installation Location

  • Install the purifier under the kitchen sink.

  • Ensure enough space for both unit + tank.

  • Keep the purifier away from heat sources.

  • A dedicated purified water tap must be installed on the sink.

🔧 3. Plumbing Setup

  1. Connect the input pipe to the cold‑water line using the diverter valve.

  2. Connect the inlet to the purifier’s input port.

  3. Attach the reject water pipe to the drain line.

  4. Ensure all joints are tightened to avoid leakage.

⚡ 4. Electrical Setup

  • Connect the purifier to a properly grounded 230V AC socket.

  • Avoid using loose or damaged sockets.

  • Keep the power cable away from water lines.

🧪 5. First‑Time Setup

  1. Turn on the water supply.

  2. Switch on the purifier.

  3. Allow the tank to fill completely.

  4. Discard the first full tank of water (recommended).

  5. Check for leaks and ensure smooth flow from the purified tap.

💧 6. Post‑Installation Checks

  • Verify RO, UV, and Copper+Zinc indicators.

  • Ensure the purified tap has steady flow.

  • Confirm the tank fills within expected time.

  • Check that reject water is draining properly.

  • Replace filters as per usage (approx. 6000 litres).

  • UV lamp life: 5000 hours.

  • Clean the area around the purifier regularly.
